Backyard Real Estate Setting the Stage for 2024 Investment Opportunities
The EPE4 (Egypt Property Expo), hosted by Backyard Real Estate in Dubai, marked a significant groundbreaking for Egypt’s real estate market and showed exciting investment opportunities. The 4th edition, held in Grand Plaza Movenpick Media City Hotel, on 21, and 22 of September 2024, with the presence of major real estate developers from Egypt. This exhibition promotes Egypt’s growing reputation as a prime real estate destination for international investors while further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate exhibitions.
Following this, we launched the very first edition of the Dubai Property Expo (DPE) in Egypt, showcasing UAE real estate developments to Egyptian investors. This event took place on 4, 5, and 6 October 2024 and highlighted the economic and real estate collaboration between Egypt and the UAE.
A Tradition of Success: From EPE1 to EPE4
Backyard Real Estate’s commitment to promoting Egyptian real estate on the international stage began with EPE1 in June 2023. This inaugural event introduced Egyptian real estate opportunities to investors in Dubai, setting the stage for future expos. The event showcased projects from New Cairo, the 6th of October City, and the North Coast, attracting interest from global buyers.
Building on this success, EPE2 in October 2023 and EPE3 in May 2023 expanded the range of developments featured, attracting even more international interest. The Launch of the 1st Edition Dubai Property Expo in Egypt (DPE1)
Following the huge success of EPE4, we proudly hosted the first-ever edition of the Dubai Property Expo (DPE) in Egypt. This landmark event allowed UAE developers like Damac, Sobha, Binghatti, Danube, Samana, and Leos to showcase their projects directly to the Egyptian market for the first time. Held in Royal Maxim Kempinski New Cairo Hotel, on 4, 5, and 6 October 2024, DPE Egypt focused on connecting Egyptian investors with Dubai’s most sought-after properties, including developments in Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah.
This expo created a cross-border real estate ecosystem, where investors from both nations could explore opportunities for portfolio diversification. The success of DPE Egypt is a testament to the increasing demand for international property investment opportunities in both Egypt and the UAE.
